Haa valley (Hidden-Land Rice Valley) is one of the smallest districts in the country but vast scenic valley covering 1706 sq.km located in the South West region of Paro Valley. This tiny region of the kingdom is full of tranquil mountain peaks, pristine forests, and is one of the most beautiful places in Bhutan. 

Haa is the border to Tibet and ancestral home of Queen Grandmother and also the illustrious Dorji family. The unspoiled forest gives ideal location for hiking and mountain biking.

The main crops grown in the valley are rice, wheat and barley and other cash crops such as potatoes, apples and chilli’s.
